While listening to "You Want Alchemy" for about the 70th time the other night the phone rang and who should it be but IED. He kindly pointed out to me that the secondary reason this song lingers in my mind (first reason being obvious) is that some lovely Debussy has been incorporated into it. Don't ask me which composition, I can't remember off the top of my head, but IED hopes to attend the upcoming showing of TLTCTC at the UC Theatre in Berkeley (details posted a few days ago thank you CHAD), so you can ask him in person if you're there. I'm planning on going Friday to the evening and late showings. I'm about half way through a description and dialogue transcription for those of you who haven't been able to see it - - but I've gotten fuzzy about some of the scenes. Hope to get that cleared up at this next showing. Not that it will matter much longer. Though I have nothing to base this on but my intuition and persistent rumors (see Alan Watson's post yesterday - Hi Alan!) I think the video will be out shortly. Notice how heavily the current single(s) is (are) oriented towards the film. Notice how conveniently soon the KT Convention is. Perhaps a significant announcement pending? Speculatively anticipating the upcoming something, Karen Newcombe kln@crl.com
