Charles Says: >Kate is MUCH more successful in America than a lot of the other female artists >we talk about here, like Jane and Sarah. Did Jane's latest album even make >the charts here? When you look at it that way, TRS seems like a good >success, to me anyway... I live in Ann Arbor Michigan. The "best" radio station that we have around here is a Canadian station that plays for a mostly American audience. Here is what I have heard: Rubberband Girl two or three times in the last month or two. Temple (by Jane Siberry (Si - ber - ry or Sib - er - ry??)) twice in the last week God by Tori Amos four or five time in the last two weeks. Sarah McLachlan's newest single once or twice in the last two to three weeks. What does this say? I have no clue. I think this last album is definitly suffering from "Sting Syndrom"... What does that mean? If you don't understand, bye Sting's latest album, then Dream of the Blue Turtles and listen to both. Then listen to The Red Shoes and The Hounds of Love. You will understand.
