Hi!

First of all, let me state my admiration and gratitude to Uli, who spent a
lot of time putting the new and improved version of the love-hounds FAQ
together. It's a great piece of work.

However, it's just too damned long to have to deal with in a Digest, even
once a month. I'm stuck with a 2400bps modem for the time being, and I have
to pay for every minute of my online time- I'm sure I'm not the only one here
who is in this situation. It took me 15 minutes to page through the posting
of the FAQ in the last Digest, and it was quite frustrating.

No, I don't have one of those funky programs that breaks a digest up into
its individual messages, nor do I have the ability on this system to set
one up. No, I can't read rec.music.gaffa. Yes, I am stuck with one huge
long love-hounds Digest each day, and when it's got a FAQ in the middle,
I really hate to have to delete the entire Digest just to avoid the time
it will take to page through to the end.

Is there any way at all for the FAQ to either be automatically sent out to
new subsribers to the love-hounds Digest and/or to be posted to the newsgroup
but not sent out to the entire list? I realize this list/newsgroup is totally
automated and Bill Wisner doesn't have time to read or really administer it,
but if someone could come up with a way to save those of us who don't require
a FAQ once a month, I'm sure we would all be grateful.

Thanks.

Meredith
