It's the other way round here. Moments is (relatively) fine, and the three
newer songs are relatively heavy on the bass line. I think it might have
to do something with Mulaw encoding scheme. Moments is encoded this way
(it's a non-linear 8 to 16 bit coding scheme), the others probably not.

Would it help to have a 256 shorts table to convert it into a better 16 bit
version?
