Katecat?

Facts:

- Kate recorded two videos for the Dr. Hook special. One for Babooshka and
  one for Delius. This aired March 20, 1980. The Babooshka video is not the
  standard one and shows Kate with a two-sided make-up. One side is quite
  'wild', and contains some zigzag lines similar to children's drawings of
  lightnings.
- The Delius video was shown again when Kate was interviewed together
  with Eric Fenby and Julian Lloyd Webber (Russel Harty Show). This
  aired on November 25, 1980.
- Julian Lloyd Webber has written Cats (the musical). In Cats all actors
  have cat-like makeup, some of these also containing similar zigzag lines.

Questions:

- When did Cats start? Before or after November 1980?
- If it was later, then Webber just might have gotten at least some ideas
  while watching more than the Delius video on the Russel Harty Show. Like
  if they scanned that tape and he thought 'hey! what's that! let's have
  a look!'
- If it was earlier, then the only possibility would be that Webber either
  was involved in the Dr. Hook special or has got the idea completely by
  himself or that a third one had the ideas for the Cats makeup.

What do you think? Looks like an interview question to either of Kate and
Webber.
