I've got to agree with Aaron Ridley.  The Dreaming is my favorite album, too,
but it certainly wouldn't have gotten me hooked on Kate in the beginning.
I would vote for Hounds of Love as the best one to give to a KaTe-newbie.
Of course, the first album I ever heard was The Whole Story.  Kind of generic,
granted, but it certainly should do the trick as well.  It sure did for me.
