Well - I think I have kept it. There might be a message or two that got lost,
but I think I have it all. Unless it was later than November 92 that I stopped
deleting otherwise empty 'unsubscribe' messages. (But even then nothing real
would be lost - sorry ;-) ) Another possible source of message loss might occur

when a love-hounds message lands in my ecto or really-deep-thoughts archive,

since I distribute these manually. But that should not have happened.

As far as I understand the archiving is done automatically at uunet.uu.net,
every ~100 messages make up one file. I think (hope?) that Bill just has not
had enough time to upload/move the messages to the archive. ftp.uu.net is not
that far away from uunet.uu.net.

If there's no other way I could of course make up the 100-message-files. No
problem with that. But I prefer waiting_for/bugging Bill a bit longer, since
something automatically done at the mailing list distribution point catches
ALL messages in the ORDER they ARRIVE THERE, not HERE.

Bye,

Uli
