She's speaking German: "Tiefer, tiefer, irgendwo in der Tiefe gibt es ein
Licht."  In English, "Deeper, deeper, somewhere below there is a light."

Based on what evidence?  In point of fact, when asked about her religious
leanings she's replied that she has none.
