She's definitely not lesbian -- she's lived with a guy now (Del
Palmer) for many years.  That your colleague wouldn't know this makes
her gossip even more supsect than it would otherwise be.  I've seen no
evidence over the years that she is bisexual, though I couldn't say it
is impossible.  She has certainly hung out with plenty of gay men over
the years, so she is anything but homophobic.
