Grammy Whammies

Peter Gabriel would have been a lot better on the Grammies if he hadn't
worn that darn hat which covered up his lovely features.....although during
the chanting part of the song ("everybody knows that it's hold your breath,
count to five", etc.) it was kind of neat when he danced around in
silhouette in front of the video screen "light show".

Did anyone see him on Leno last night? What a great band...Tony Levin, L.
Shankar and Adrian Belew (extra points to anyone who can identify the
drummer and the female keyboard player...) "Digging in the Dirt" was pretty
good, but on some of the high notes during "River" he sounded like he had
celebrated his Grammy a little too hard the night before :)

Cheers, Fiona

P.S. Do all these promotional appearances mean that US is not doing that
well?
I can't remember him doing any of this for the previous albums. Will he get
a 90-minute special with Oprah next?
