There's a new mailinglist for the discussion of Bel Canto's music and
related topics.

The members of Bel Canto are Nils Johansen, Anneli Drecker and also
Geir Jenssen on their first two albums. They have released three records:

  o White-out conditions (1987)
  o Birds of passage (1990)
  o Shimmering, warm & bright (1992)

The music is atmospheric and ambient with elements of "world" music,
but can have a mean beat. Of course, "Bel Canto" means "beautiful
song" in Italian.
