I think (pls. don't flame me if I'm wrong) that the music to the Volkswagen
commercial(s) is Enya, and the _Patriot_Games_ soundtrack has Maire Brennan
and/or Clannad. When I first heard this commercial I was in the kitchen and
could only *hear* the TV; I thought "What's Enya doing on TV!?" and nearly
burnt myself in haste. I've listened to it a few times, and it really seems
like Enya to me. (echo/delay/chorus fx on vocals, electric instruments
backing). I too tried to read the _Patriot_Games_ credits; I can't remember
exactly what they said, but I read enough to guess that Maire Brennan was
doing the voices. (similar to Enya, less fx & processing, reminds me of
Sarah McLachlan.)

Actually I'd been wondering about this Volkswagen commercial for a while,
but never got around to posting, and I very recently saw _Patriot_Games_,
and noticed the lovely singing. Neat coincidence, eh?
