Speak for yourself! I wouldn't want to bet my money on the outcome of a
poll on that subject. I wouldn't stop backing Kate just because she
expressed a liking for Colorado as a vacation spot. I, too, like Colorado
and don't intend to stop going there because of any political issue. I'm
apolitical, as Kate has said she is, and I just won't let myself be yanked
around by either side of that debate.
Kate has always been very sensitive to gays and I think it would be very
crass to start twisting her arm like that. She's brought a lot of pleasure
to a lot of people in this world, and I think the world is in some small
way improved by her contribution.
Totally silly example: If aliens arrived, her music is something we could
hold up and be proud of "Look, this is what one of us did!" I couldn't
point to our myriad of squabblihg special interests with the same pride.
