I don't oppose it at all, but I can definitely see your point.  In San
Francisco, there were voter registration stands on just about every street
corner.  Well, at least every street corner in the neighborhoods where *I'd*
hang out.  I wonder if the Mission (scary inner city area) was so well
staffed?  I think sending the message: "it's easy to register to vote" is
good, but I'd prefer if we spent some time on: "voting is important and CAN
make a difference!" for a change.
