As has been pointed out, the TOYS soundtrack is quite interesting and beautiful, with, among other attractions, new vocals by Tori Amos. In addition, I wonder if anyone else thought that the opening theme song sounded *very* much like a KaTe KomposiTion? Elements of RUTH instruments, rhythms, and arrangements, and a couple ooo-ooo-oo backup vocal stylings that sounded an awful lot like KaTe. I didn't actually think it was her, but did wonder, and was looking anxiously at the end credits. I think it was the same composers as most of the other music: Trevor Horne and ???(someone else mentioned the other name in another post). Curious. And, for what it's worth, I thought the film, though flawed in a couple of really minor ways, was B*E*A*U*T*I*F*U*L. As others have said, a cross between Dr. Strangelove and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (which is a damn fine recommendation in my book). -- -larryy@apple.com "Shi Nou Kou Sho Inu Neko Programmer" - Takada Naoki
