I'm glad to see that there are other skating fans hanging out here (does this
mean that the typical Kate Bush fan is, in addition to being less than
100% straight, a skating fanatic :) )
 
I missed the ProAm event but the "Skate the Dream" show that Vickie (I think)
mentioned is to be broadcast in Canada on CTV on Dec. 19, for those of you
who can pick that network up. The show was a tribute to Rob McCall, who with
his partner Tracy Wilson, won the bronze in ice dancing at the 1988 Olympics.
It was a benefit for AIDS research and Rob McCall was organizing it up
until he died earlier this year. The reviews of the show (it was held in
Toronto two weekends ago) were absolute raves so I hope the TV show is
as good. 
 
Rosalynn Sumner's taste in music seems to be improving if she is skating
to Kate Bush and Julia Fordham. I last saw her in a "Champions on Ice"
show in Edmonton where she did an appalling routine to an appalling song -
Alannah Myles' "Black Velvet".
