(third attempt to post!) I'm going to be getting a 1 hr video from aborad very soon which is in PAL format? Can anyone give me some advice on how to get this thing converted cheaply. (I called around and the cheapest place charged $45/hr) What kind of charges should I expect? How bad is the degradation? What happens if you play a PAL VHS video on a NTSC machine?
