As far as "Umbrella" is concerned, I think it's a fabulous album. Many of
the songs were written the same time as the songs from the first LP such as
"Umbrella," "Someday Coming," "
"Revolving Man (was preceded by a song called "Revolve" but redone differently)"
"Joan," and "My Waltzing Days Are Over".

THe rest of the LP was pretty much done during and just after the first tour.
"Umbrella" is a bit brighter and more exciting than the debut. I love both
so much. I think they are similar style wise. Instrument wise Karen plays
a bit more acoustic guitar than before. I suggest this album to not just
IM fans but Kate fans too.

Everyone thinks that Tori, Kate, Happy and Jane are good...well I have news
for ya, The Innocence Mission is just as good. :) Eventhough IM is only 2
LPs old...they've been playing together for over 10 years now. They are
great live as well as on their recordings.

Go pick the LPs up people. You wont be dissapointed!
