A lot of folks have been wondering why Tori Amos denies being influenced
by Kate.  Other folks wonder why folks wonder that, since one or two
other musicians have been known to just be a vocal-and-piano thing.

Well, wonder no more!  For I humbly present:

10.  On her next album cover, Tori insists on wearing a lion suit.

9.  The subtitle for the song "Mother" is "Stands for Comfort".

8.  In future albums, she insists every family member make a cameo
    apperance.

6.  Original title of song was "Me and James and the Cold Gun."

5.  She is trying to get her brother to write really, really bad
    poetry.

4.  She ends every concert with a rousing rendition of "God Bless
    America" (Sorry, that should be under "Ways Tori Amos was
    influenced by Kate Smith")

3.  Has a restraining order on her to keep away from David Gilmour

2.  Made reference in recent radio interview about "nice to swallow"
    (May have been mis-heard).
