Hi, Craig > are you asking me to believe she doesn't love any of Kate's songs? No, I don't. I talked about general reasons for artists doing cover versions. And, of course, if Tori really loves a Kate song - and i can't believe she doesn't - it would be a nice gesture to perform one of her songs. What i said was, that I don't want her to do it just because her voice or her style is similar to KaTe's. > No amount of argument, violence or anything else is going to convince > me that Kate isn't a major influence on Tori's new style. I agree. The fact that Tori's first album "Y Kant Tori Reed" is totally different from "Little Earthquakes" shows that there must be a kind of influence. And obviously she has been influenced by KaTe. But i'm sure that Tori will never commit this.
