Homeground 44 arrived this morning. As you might expect, there's an obituary for Hannah. It seems the Homegrinders knew KaTe's family quite well and were especially close to Hannah. Other things: Rocket Man chart roundup and news from foreign parts; news of a lecture by Fred Vermorel on why he wrote those books; Part 2 of Krys' Expt IV video story; a tribute to the multi-racial sentiments of Star Trek from Dave and a distinct lack of those dodgy stories 8^). Oh, and HG have organised a 10th anniversary party in a club in London on May 24. They say it's not a convention, and I wouldn't expect KaTe to be there, but just an opportunity to meet KaTefans and boogie on down to her music (it sez here). Tickets are L6. April Record Collector: there's a feature by Nev & Jon of Never for Ever about Kate's session work and collaborations (she's even on the front cover). Also an ad from C-Side Records for "The Can", which is a bit naughty coz RC expressly forbids ads for bootlegs. Btw Never for Ever #18 is out now. -- Scott Telford, Dept of Computer Science, electric mail: s.telford@ed.ac.uk University of Edinburgh, Mayfield Rd, Edinburgh, EH9 3JZ, UK. ------ <wham!> "It's in the trees!" <wham!><wham!><wham!> "It's coming!" ------
