Subject: Strange Kate Reference in Computing Mag
To: love-hounds@eddie.mit.edu
There is an odd reference to Kate in the 26th March issue
of Computing (UK trade rag) under their backbytes feature.
Beneath a photo of Kate is the following "article":
Singers continue their infiltration of the IT industry.
Following Backbytes' revelation that the Hungarian National
Bank had been hit by the Barry Manilow Greatest Hits virus,
that warbling songstress Kate Bush has popped up as a
recruitment consultant at Rullion Computer Personnel in
Cheshire.
Job hunters are cautioned against introducing thmeselves
to Kate as: "It's me, it's cathy and I'm a Cobol programmer.'
She'd put you down from a wuthering height (groan).
Perhaps there is a Kate fan on the staff who wanted an excuse
to print her photo.
