Actually, what happened with Watermark was that it was originally
released without the "Storms In Africa II" track. I think that when the
"Orinoco Flow" track became successful, the record company decided to
follow it with another single and figured it wouldn't be a success in
the U.S. without English lyrics.
I found out about the new version's inclusion on further pressings of
the album when I replaced my original copy which found its way out of
its jewelbox and was smashed in my car seat. When it was first
included, the sticker on the longbox stated the fact. Now when you go
to the store, the sticker isn't there. But the track still is. I
can't vouch for the Canadian version, but the U.S. one did originally
appear sans extra track.
