Unfortunately, you miss the point - the point that Melissa was making was
that she felt it right to respond to public detractors *in public*.  If
someone posts a message saying "drukman, you're a twit," I want to follow
that up in public.  Of course, if your ego is sufficiently fortified that it
doesn't matter to you, take it to email.  I have no problems with that.
