In article <9201231858.AA09683@twitch.media.mit.edu> Doug Alan <nessus@mit.edu> makes a rare appearance: > >> [greg <greg@cmatter.physics.indiana.edu>:] So, the nib of my gist >> is: Is most of her work [Danielle Dax's] this sort of alternative >> dance sounding stuff? Her best stuff is from a few years back. Definitely >get *Dark Adapted Eye* -- it's much better than *Blast The Human >Flower*. If you can find them, get the incredibly superb *Pop Eyes* >and *Jesus Egg That Wept*. These two records are combined on one >Japanese import CD called *Up Amongst The Golder Spires*. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Pardon me while I wipe the drool off my chin... would you please give a label name and catalog # if you know them? I had always thought that this stuff was out of print on LP and unavailable on CD. Are any tracks omitted? How much (gulp) did it cost? Also, has anyone heard the Dax Peel Sessions CD yet? I've seen it listed as available, including a Strange Fruit catalog #, but I haven't ordered it yet. It's a domestic (US) release, probably also out in the UK. -- Larry Spence larry@csccat.cs.com ..!{uunet|texsun|cs.utexas.edu|decwrl}!csccat!larry
