I'm still waiting for some kind UK soul to post the Melody Maker review of
the Rocket Man single.  There *was* one, wasn't there?

In this week's MM (Dec 7) I note that Rocket Man has entered the singles
chart at #11.  Two Rooms is up to 21 from 22 on the album chart.

Single Of The Week is awarded to The KLF with Tammy Wynette for their latest
oddity, "Justified And Ancient (Stand By The JAMS)".  I am dying to hear
this one!  Come to think of it, a copy of "It's Grim Up North" wouldn't come
amiss...

In other news, everyone's favorite party gal Sinead O'Connor has released a
version of "Silent Night" just in time for the holidays.  It is described
thusly: "the overall ambience is about as festive as a funeral."


In the immortal words of Homer Simpson: "that's it.  I'm outta here."
