Sarah McLachlan and the a*holes at Arista

I posted about this a few days ago to rec.music.misc and rec.music.cd,
but I've been waiting for the problems on .gaffa to clear up before
I post it here.

I talked with the local Arista office, and they said that Sarah
McLachlan's new album _Solace_ has been "postponed until further
notice"!!!!!  Thank God I got it when I was in Canada in August.
It's terrific!

Vickie, didn't you tell me you had an advance copy of this album?
Did they say when they thought it was coming out?  You may have
a collector's item on your hands, because it looks like it may
NEVER come out here!
