Grrr... I dunno about you, but where I come from them's fighting words!
I am an Art-Rock Snob and damn proud of it! "The Big Sky" is my least favourite
song on all of HOL - which doesn't mean it's not a work of genius, of course,
but how anyone in their right mind could compare it to stuff like "Cloudbusting"
is beyond me. I don't see why KaTe has to make you simpletons dance. If you want
to dance, go listen to New Kids on the Block. KaTe has got better things to do,
like write works of Cosmic Significance and Ineffable Meaning.

As a small note, as an act of devotion I was checking out references to the
Ninth Wave in the varsity library, starting with the Tennyson bit and working
my way back. What I finally found out was that Nine in ancient Celtic religion
was the number of the Moon, and since the Moon controls the tides, the Ninth
Wave was always the largest. In one poem the flower-woman Blodeuwedd says 
"Long and white are my fingers as the ninth wave of the sea"... Tennyson 
obviously picked up this motif, and made the baby Arthur ride in on the curl of
the Ninth Wave to the waiting Merlin.
	I wish I didn't know what TNW was about - my theories were much more
mindstretching...
