Though I'm fairly new to the newsgroup thing and rarely ever say
anything on here, I thought I'd put in my "two cents' worth" and
post my DIDs.  Instead of listing particular albums, however, I've
decided to just list my top ten favorite groups (of the moment).
So, here goes...Please bear with me! :)
 
(These are in no particular order and are *very* spur-of-the-moment.)
 
1.  Kate Bush - Of course!  My two favorites are _HoL_ and _TD_.
2.  Siouxsie & the Banshees - Very diverse.  I favor _Juju_.
3.  R.E.M. - So catchy, so brilliant.  _LRP_ and _DLO_ are tops.
4.  Dead Can Dance - Heaven.  I prefer _Aion_ and _Spleen_&_Ideal_.
5.  Sinead O'Connor - Power and passion.  _The_Lion_&_the_Cobra_.
6.  Cocteau Twins - Swoops and trills.  _V.land_ and _Treasure_.
7.  10,000 Maniacs - Serious and fun.  _In_My_Tribe_ is def. #1.
8.  This Mortal Coil - 4AD magic.  _F&S_ and _Blood_ are great.
9.  Tones on Tail - Dark yet quirky.  _Night_Music_ has it all.
10. The Pogues or Throwing Muses or others... - I can't decide!
 
Well, there it is.  Thanks for perusing my list.  I would make a
DIMs (Desert Island Movies) list, but I think my brain is too tired
now. :)
