there is some evidence accumulated on the ecto mailing list that posts
that have appeared in the LoveHounds digest have not made it to gaffa.
(yep, i'm talking about Vickie's posts, whatever they were - i read
the newsgroup, so i haven't seen them...)

at least two of us gaffites, in different locations, have missed these
(and other!!) posts, so i doubt it is a local problem.  any comments?
