okay - here is an index of the gifs i created last year. they are lo-
cated on hayes.ims.alaska.edu in /pub/love-hounds/kb/pix/gif.new and
are all in 640x400x256 mode. there are also some really cheesy gifs
that a friend of mine did in pix/gif - don't bother with these as they
really are not very good (the guy only had a b&w scanner that was quite
limited). the ones listed below were created using an amiga equipped
with a framegrabber digitizer, ikegami cameras and/or sony video decks.

unfortunately, i don't have access to this equipment anymore. sigh...

note: gifs made from video sources are invariably worse than the others.
