   Mr. Pipe-To-Standard-Output-filename-"oug" (alias Captian Bringdown,
aka "The ol bucket'o'cold water") insists that Kate will never again tread
stage this side of the big puddle. Well, I just came from a meeting with
our source "Deep Ear" at an unmarked hot dog stand somewhere in the city.

   Mr. Ear books all of the big alternative concerts in a a great american
metropolis that will (for obvious security reasons) remain nameless.

   My informant tells me that Kate's people, (what? Aren't _we_ Kate's
people?) are trying to arrange a series of concerts. The approximate time
frame is September. A hall mentioned to me was "The Chicago Theatre" in
(where else) Chicago. Deep (I can call him or her that 'cause we're buddies)
described the percieved audience as "older and upscale. Not rowdy." I 
considered it prudent not to mention IEDs (amoung others) probable frenzy.

   Now I hope you understand that lives may be at stake if this information
gets into the wrong hands. My life for instance. So no running off and
telling radio stations or newspapers or the kind of people who hang around
at sleazy hot dog stands.
