Re : XTRA FM (91X)

91X is a San Diego station which transmits from Tijuana.  
They are thus able to transmit with more power than any
US station.  They have a San Diego address and phone number
and serve the San Diego community but do let the public 
know about music events and nightclubs in Tijuana.  The only
Spanish you here is on the station ID which tells you it is 
being transmitted from Baja California, Mexico.

i have been able to get 91X up in the Mojave Desert but the mountains
cause problems in Riverside and San Bernardino.

The station is considered "alternative".  Certainly they are
a welcome one to the ever increasing number of "classic rock"
and "soft rock" stations here.  This may also be one factor
in KaTe's Grammy nomination in the alternativemusic category.

(Had to get KT in there somewhere).

Did I remember to put IMHO with my comments about the "bongos"
December Will be Magic version?  I meant to.  I stand by those comments.
