Subject: Thanks
Belated thanks to everyone who mailed or posted information about Option magazine. Much appreciated, all of you. >From: PBMANCHESTER@ccmail.sunysb.edu >Subject: Confusion at the End of the World > > In a posting Sat Mar 24 14:45:35 GMT 1990, >>jim%BILPIN.UUCP@mitvma.mit.edu replies to Doug Alan: >> So if we're not in that petite coterie, we are to be denied all of the >> informative, educational, entertaining, and infuriating aspects of >> r.m.g.? At the same time, jim%BILPIN.UUCP has a point too, especially if it >has been USENET that made possible the highly stimulating international >participation at gaffa. Love-Hounds has been available by mail to the UK as well as via the Usenet newsgroup rec.music.gaffa. I have been receiving the digests by mail for c. 3 years. Anyone with a decent mail address should have no rpoblem in receiving digests in this fashion. If the new Love-Hounds supremo has problems mailing lots of different UK addresses we could always do something like what is done with the Sun-Spots or Sun-Nets mailing lists and have one UK mail recipient who then "explodes" the file out to everyone on the list. I would like to add my thanks to |>oug for keeping Love-Hounds going all these years (despite the problems of rogue mailers and errant girlfriends). I trust that the forum will continue to thrive in its new home.
