I agree with the inimmitable Jon D. Kate can put anything she wants into a remix. She could have thrown pieces of "Waking the Witch" in if she had wanted to. That she threw a little piece of "The Fog" in there is no surprise to me -- she wants to offer you a little taste of the rest of the album, so you'll go and buy the whole thing. Adrian Sherwood did a remix for Depeche Mode's "People are People" (or was it "Master and Servant"?) and there is nothing left from the original song that I can hear in it. There is all sorts of Fats Comet stuff in the remix, however. Does this mean that the Fats Comet material is supposed to be part of the original song? Of course not!
