Subject: Hedges
If you ever get a chance to see Michael Hedges in concert, do *not* pass it up. He redefines the acoustic guitar. It's that simple. I saw him here two nights ago and I am still in awe. Among many stunning and mesmorizing original compositions, he played brilliant covers of Pinball Wizard, Eminence Front, Gimme Shelter, and All Along the Watchtower. He even did a FYC piece which was really funny (She Drives Me Crazy). His interpretations are bold, stirring, and very moving. Needless to say just listening to his albums only scratches the surface. You don't appreciate the full extent of his talent until you actually *see* him play one guitar three different ways at the same time! Check this guy out. . /\/\ / /\/\ / / /_/ / / / "It's only surreal..."
