Actually, it probably means that it's in stores already.  Billboard is
notoriously slow about updating such information.  It took them *forever* to
change "Love And Anger" from "Col LP cut" to "Col 73092", and the Indigo Girls'
first album was certified gold for more than a month before Billboard noted
such in their chart.  

One other note about CBS--don't expect CD singles from them.  Rumor has it that
CBS would put out CD singles if they could find someone to press 3" CDs for
them (and that there are some who would make CD singles for CBS if CBS would
stop believing so firmly in the 3" format...)

If you read Billboard regularly, you'll very rarely find crossovers between
the "Adult Rock" and "Pop" charts.  The "Adult Rock" chart is sampled from
college stations and "alternative" stations who try very hard not to play the
same music that pop stations play (that's why they're called "alternative"
stations).
