Message-ID: <5980@eagle.wesleyan.edu> Date: 25 Jan 90 17:22:36 GMT Lines: 25 Some people think the "Pirate TV" thing on MTV is just a promo stunt. I think it's a genuine pirate: why would MTV want to interrupt its videos, when the reason they're on the air is to show them? And couldn't the record companies sue them for doing it? MTV laughs at itself a lot, but they wouldn't screw around with the videos. What I can't understand is, why the country hasn't gone nuts over this. Captain Midnight appeared just once on HBO, and it was on the news for weeks. Are the MTV ratings really that sad? And finally, a question (although I'm sure the answer is already on this board here somewhere, but our system hasn't been able to access it for the past few days): does anybody know if and when the MTV Rockumentary on KT is going to be? I know it's on next weekend in Europe, but how about over here? I can't get MTV unless I'm at home, but if I know when it is I can have it taped. If anyone knoews, let me know...not on the nets, please, as I said our system here is having problems accessing news entries.
