How to buy CDs from abroad and save money. How to buy "Which CD?" mag.

AIR MAIL to England is $0.42 per half oz. I'd 
send a postcard asking for a catalog. You can save big bucks having the CDs 
from England sent by surface mail, but it takes 4-8 weeks to get them. Each 
company has its own rules on postage, but with care on your part, the VAT 
discount should cover all postage. You may find that the min. postage 
covers more than one CD, and therefore you might as well transport all that 
you are paying to transport.

Recommended places with the most competative prices that I could find, and 
accepting Visa credit cards allowing you to not pay if you do not get the 
goods and allowing for virtually cost-free currancy exchange at current 
market rates at date of transaction posting: (Note that I have bought CDs 
from both and get catalog(ue)s from both.

A quick brouse through the latest British magazine "Which CD?" (The mag is 
similar to the USA's "CD REVIEW" and can be bought from Which CD?, 120/126 
Lavender Ave., Mitcham, Surrey, CR4 3HP, ENGLAND for USD50 per year, but it 
includes free CDs) shows two additional mail order firms that accept VISA, 
although I have never done business with either:

Another good place for non-USA CDs is Canada.
(Note that postage to Canada from USA is more than to USA destinations
(used to be the  same in the 1970's). Again use VISA or MASTERCARD to solve
currency xactions. I have been happy with DISCS & DATS.
