Subject: Import Vs. Domestic CDs

Hi folks, One topic I haven't seen discussed here yet, at least since I've been reading rec.music.gaffa, is the sonic quality of Mistress Kate's CDs (legitimate releases, that is). I have been told by a couple different record store owners that the import copies sound better than the domestic versions. Is this true or are they just trying to give me a line of BS? As it happens, all the CD copies of her albums that I own are imports, but that's just coincidence. Has anybody else out there in netland heard this? Enquiring minds want to know! Thanks, Steve P.S. Just for the record, the very first disc I put on when I bought my CD player was "The Hounds Of Love".
