Oh, they said something about the name "Love-Hounds" being
"unprofessional" and sticking out like a sore thumb.  This, they said,
might cause the people who pay for the phone bills that transport
Usenet to examine the newgroup in more detail.  When they then noticed
that they were paying for mindless drivel, they would start examining
all of the newsgroups, decide the whole thing is mindless drivel,
and shutdown Usenet altogther.

It's strange that the defense department hasn't shut down the Internet
because of the mailing list name "Love-Hounds", but I guess they are
less picky than the people who pay for Usenet.
