Sincere thanks to Nancy Everson for reccomending it to me. I picked it up at a used CD store, which was real nice. The album reminds me of sort of a cross between Danielle Dax and Throwing Muses, and 10000 Maniacs. I don't understand most of the lyrics, and I'm not sure whether most of them are even in English, or even a real language (as opposed to make-believe words or real language reversed or sampled into weirdness), but I don't mind. I have one gripe about it, and that is the packaging. Just one tiny folded sheet, rather than a proper booklet. No lyrics (even if it is make-believe, it would be nice to sing along), and hardly any credits. But when the biggest complaint about an album is lack of a lyric sheet in the pack, that's pretty good stuff. Merry Christmas, happy holidays, and happy New Year! --Steve
