Er, they weren't unhappy with the actual songs or album of Skylarking...
Andy in particular found himself getting in many fights with Rundgren,
but apparently he now can stand to listen to the record and actually thinks
it's OK.

One bad thing that may come of all this hanging out in LA and rehearsing
is due to their co-producer - this guy is named Paul Fox and worked on
the last YES album... I'm afraid we may find a very glossy, polished, slick
LA-sounding XTC on this new one.  But, I'll reserve judgement until
I've heard it.  Oh yeah - other bad news, the drummer on this record is
named Pat Mastelotto and his last credit was... gasp... Mr. Mister!!!!
