Here is the scoop on the Lemon Kittens album, Danielle Dax's first band.
Her collaborator Karl Blake is now The Shock Headed Peters.

Lemon Kittens _The Big Dentist_
All songs written and played by Danielle Dax and Karl Blake (c) 1981
Illuminated Records Jams131
Cover Illustration of 'The Old God Pan' at Mapledurham by D. Dax
(the album cover is gold)

list of tracks:
They are both dirty No night not shared
The hospital hurts the girl	Oath
Mylmus The Log and the pin
				Nudies
				An untimely end

They both do some singing although most of the lyrics are by Blake.

Two comments from anonymous WHPK (Chicago) DJ's:
"If they didn't take themselves so seriously (the lyrics and vocals -- talk
about 'pomp as art') they could be fun (or at least funny). Some
people should've never been allowed to listen to Lydia Lunch."
"Boring. Kids playing dress up. You've first got to be really good, before
you get too creative -- these people forgot the former."

In listening to it again, it actually sounds kinda No Wave in places -- honking
dissonant sax, etc. I agree that it's not that great. "Nudies" has an
interesting tape loop of a little girl. "They are both dirty" is an 11 minute
almost-instrumental by Dax.
