While normally I find postings of concert reviews on L-H rather dull
and self-indulgent (not always, but mostly), I HAVE to dabble a bit in
it myself. I've noticed a rather large number of L-H's seem to come from
the Washington, D.C. area, and there is a band playing there soon that
if you don't see, I will personally come over and call you dirty names.
The band is the Entropics. Picture Laurie Anderson jamming with The
Residents. Now picture Yoko Ono and Nina Hagen joining in for a few songs.
Do you have that pictured? Good. Now picture something three times
weirder. That is the Entropics. Oh, also all this is generated by just
TWO people! (One male, one female.) This duo also has an album out which
I haven't heard (yet) called "Spagga", but they are soon breaking up, so
you MUST see them live to see appreciate how two people can pleasantly
fry your braincells legally. Now, THAT'S what *I* call music!
