I don't see any Psycodrama or Happy Flowers on the college playlists we
get at WEFT, so if they're mainstays at KALX you guys are g*ds. The
university here does not have a real college station. They support an
NPR jazz/classical station and WPGU (I believe), yet another commercial
bullshit station, so I can't draw on recent firsthand experience. But
the playlists I've seen certainly don't suggest that college radio is
any more adventurous than, say, WXRT, Chicago's wimped-out excuse for
alternative music radio.
