4AD // Sonics vs Jarre // IED contest

Subject: 4AD // Sonics vs Jarre // IED contest

About a year ago someone posted a list, culled from some 'zine, of 4AD's
various projects for 1986. Anyone seen anything similar for '87? I'd like
to know what's in the works, especially since it's been so long since there's
been a "regular" Cocteau Twins album.
Blip.
Agonized yesterday whether to buy Sonic Youth's "Bad Moon Rising" CD or Jean-
Michel Jarre's "Magnetic Fields". My pretty-stuff side won out over the
noise-monger, so I got the latter. And I'm very happy with it, thanks. But
the SY disc will be my next purchase, unless I can find "Atomizer" anywhere.
Blip.
This rambling is just to preface the REAL content of this message, which is
my one sole true entry to the What-Does-IED-Stand-For contest. Doug's guess
of "I Envy Doug" is clever, but of course the real answer is

		I BuriED paul

(Or is it John? Could IED and John Hinckley be the same person? Does that
mean that Jodie Foster is Kate Bush? The pieces begin to fit together...)
