All right. I agree that Skinny Puppy was Intense, With A Capital I, after all,
Who else would show video tape coverage of a slaughter-house in action, but
the REAL THING? Two people punching buttons and a vocalist moaning and
Screaming into heavy reverb just doesn't cut it. Also, when someone comes
onstage in a body bag and starts oozing blood and guts, I call that genuine
Death Rock. About Severed Heads: Although I'm not an "art-damaged neopunk
nor an industrial music froghead, I enjoy listening to them on vinyl. On
stage, Two people punching buttons ALONE is little better than having a
friend put on a Severed Heads Record fer yer listenin' enjoyment. Overheard
after Severed Heads left the stage: "Well, flip over the record and let's
listen to the other side!" Need I say more?
