This is the perrenial rumour.  I know someone who bought tickets to a
David Bowie concert ages in advance a couple years back because rumour
said that Kate was going to be the opening act.  Of course, she
wasn't.  Personally, I can't picture Kate being the opening act for
someone else.  That seems as likely as David Bowie being the opening
act for someone else.
