Well the very first issue had Madonna on the cover, so I can't see it as
anything but an upward trend.  Besides, the article with Pat Benetar
being interviewed by Lydia Lunch was great.

No, it's mags like "OPtion" and "Sound Choice" that won't write about
anyone that's on a major label.  I mean I hate big business record
companies as much as the next guy, but I'm not convinced that every
artist on a major label has necessarily sold their soul to the devil.  I
mean, if your art form requires a big budget, what are you supposed to
do?
